We're officially walking!

In addition to catching up in the teeth department (she now has 4 total with 2 more almost in), Ava has also joined Cole & Eli in the "Walking Club".

Eli started walking about a week ago.  It's hard to really say, since he's a "closet walker".  See, he wouldn't walk if you wanted  him to or if you were watching.  If you stood him up and put your arms out, he'd flash a huge smile, and slowly lower to his knees.  I seriously had to become a stealth undercover agent to witness it.  Anytime I'd turn on the camcorder, he'd hear it, and sit down.  Now that he's much more confident, I've finally caught it on film.

And just so Cole doesn't think he's left out...I should tell you that he's moved AHEAD in the tooth count!   He's up to 5!!!

I just can't believe how fast they're growing up! You're doing a wonderful job as a mother of 5, wife and topping off with keeping up with your blog and pics. Thanks so very much for sharing this.

Amy,
I can't believe how big the trips are getting! I love reading your stories about how different having 3 kids the same age affects life! I loved the car seat one! I'm carpooling to work with a co-worker and it's a challenge to get two in my car because the stupid LATCH hooks are in the middle and on only ONE side so the kids have to sit right next to each other so it's always a challenge with their cups, blankets, and any food!!! My life doesn't look so difficult next to yours!! :)
Anyway, thanks for the compliment. I try to make sure that I only post cute pics of me! :) That's usually a challenge to find since I'm the one taking the pics! Rob races super-late model racecars at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. He's been into the cars since we met, but he didn't start driving them until we were engaged. He really enjoys "putting them together"!
School is good. It seems that we have a good batch of 8th graders so far and the 7th graders are all scared of us still! We P.E. teachers really do yell a lot, but it's because we have 50 kids in each class and we share the blacktop (aka our classroom) with 5 other teachers with 50 kids! I'm glad to hear that P.E. is not called "gym" at Zoe's school. That drives me crazy because a gym is a facility in which P.E. is taught! Everytime I see a new pic of Zoe, I am amazed at how much she looks like you when you were her age. It's like a flashback for me since that's what I remember you looking like! Like an episode of the Twilight Zone! :) I hope you have a great weekend! I gotta get back to class!
