(Look at that hair! And for the love of Pete...did I ever eat anything?)
That's right, Shane and I just celebrated 15 years of marriage. Our actual anniversary was on Thanksgiving, so we decided to observe it on Friday. As a bonus, we had free babysitting: My Parents!
Shane planned the whole night.
First, we went to dinner at Boulud Sud in Manhattan. It's one of Daniel Boulud's newest restaurants. It was so out of our element, but so fun.
Then we stretched ourselves even more:We headed over to Broadway!
We saw Katie Holmes in Dead Accounts before it opened. No, it didn't get great reviews, but we enjoyed it and thought the whole cast was fabulous.
(I had to include this picture. We took it in the theater before the play started. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the humor in the shot. Couldn't Shane do a better job hiding his halo?)
The weather was fantastic...perfect for a night of walking around the city. It always amazes me that we don't go into New York more often. It's really pretty easy and there's so much to do!
Here's to another 15 (and more)!
