Keeping me on my toes

Eli sure knows how to keep me on my toes...

...and keep Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser in business!

This is part of what I found when I came down from getting dressed yesterday morning.  I was seriously out of the room for all of 5 minutes.  Eli pushed a chair up to the counter, climbed up, and found my sharpies on the top shelf of the upper cabinets.  He then proceeded to draw a mural in the mudroom.  I calmly grabbed my Magic Eraser and scrubbed the marks off the hardwood floor, the tile, the cabinets, and the server.  I attempted to clean the wainscoting in the hall, but it didn't come off right away and I didn't feel like getting frustrated...so I left it.  I suppose it's nothing a fresh coat of paint won't cover.

Wow! I am so glad I got all caught up! This was great reading this morning. You never cease to put a smile on my face Amy! Those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers never really worked in our house! HA! I remember those days...they really didn't stop until my boys were 4 (I remember Kyle drawing Jesus on the cross everywhere..all over the house) yup...had the paint the whole house!

Oh my! We are spending Christmas break re-painting...perhaps we should wait :0 I sometimes wish I had a house made of only concrete. That way I could just hose it down after they went to bed and WOOOOOHOOOO it would be clean.

With Sharpies? Doesn't Eli know that those don't say washable on them? Bless you, super mama. I have heard that there is a special place in heave for mom's of 3 boys. ;)

Oh that mischievious little Eli. My fancy front hall is painted very chic, very fresh, very trendy........CHALKBOARD PAINT, from the chair rail down. Oh what our lives have become.

Gotta love MAGIC ERASERS!!!!!
